I find it interesting how, through the giving and receiving of objects, we can possess or have the appearance of possessing a piece of a culture we may never visit ourselves. With this body of work, showcasing objects that have made their way into my home by various means from all around the world, I aim to question whether these souvenirs are an accurate representation of their country of origin.
